Wee drink of Heaven beer scotch I think the beer is great with rich deep full flavors. The Black lager had a rich coffee chocolate flavor great for dessert. The Wee Heavy Scotch Ale is delicious ale with a scotch finish a must for all single malt lovers. By the way great views to the bay. Oh the salmon sandwich was awesome and our waitress Judy was spectacular.

Go for the beer, stay for the food, don't leave without the chocolate! I enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner here. The service was great; the coffee was great; the beer was exceptional!

Delicious Menu Offerings The food, the hand crafted beer, and view of Victoria Harbour, especially at night sets this brewpub and tap room apart.. the seafood chowder, the hand cut fries , the pizzas and the fresh ocean seafood availability.. either the main floor seating or climb the stairs for a more socially inspired atmosphere..food items are available to go set up near the entrance...

Good view, good food and beer We had lunch here, it was very busy, but the staff did a good job getting us seated and bringing drinks and food quickly. The salad I had was delicious, the burger our son had looked great and he said it was. The truffle garlic fries were unbelievalbe. but watch out for wicked garlic breath after! They were soo good though. The beer and drinks were average price for the area and pretty good. Great free parking which is a big deal in Victoria.

Breakfast is wonderful Had a great breakfast here today. Had the wild mushroom hash with hollandaise and poached eggs. It was delightful and filling. Building and view is great.

We stayed for a week & the food was a real highlight We stayed at the Guesthouse for six nights. Breakfast at Spinnakers was included and over the course of our stay we tested all the non-meat menu items pretty thoroughly! Everything was delicious, fresh and filling. Our favourites were the smoked salmon hash (fried potatoes, smoked pacific salmon, spinach, poached eggs, hollandaise and crispy capers) and the wild mushroom hash (potatoes, wild mushrooms, baby kale, eggs, hollandaise), each of which came with toast or a scone.

We also ate dinner in the restaurant several nights and again, everything was freshly cooked and delicious. The children's menu was a little unimaginative but my daughter mostly ordered from the main menu or shared with us. The battered halibut and chips was great, as was the crispy fishcake with celeriac remoulade. The desserts menu is brief but our stay included a complimentary truffle and beer pairing which was definitely the best dessert option!

We sampled several of the beers and while we preferred some to others, they were all good. There was a large variety of different styles and each was a pretty good example of its type.

Another great stay! We have stayed here several times, it's our place to stay when we visit Victoria. Had a garden suite, always nice to have the extra room(s). Place was very clean, comfy bed with good linens. Staff are always friendly. It is in a great location with views of the harbour and a short walk to the downtown area (over the blue bridge). We had a beer and appy that night in the brewpub, the beet humus was EXCELLENT! Good breakfast was had the next morning. We'll be back on our next island visit!

Sightseeing makes you hungry? Really! While visiting family, we took a tour of Victoria's harbour front, over the new "Blue" bridge. Enjoyed watching the float planes landing and taking off, walked the long walkway along the water and look, a neat little place called "Spinnakers Brewpub". Well sister had been there before and we got a table on the upper patio overlooking the water. We had a friend of nature watching us from the other side of the glass, a seagull. As tempted as I was to toss a piece of food to him, my son just said "mom don't encourage him", so I didn't. We had ordered salt and pepper wings, fresh in house artisan bread with brushetta toppings and the inhouse brewpub beer, golden and very smooth. So good, staff was friendly, lots of spots to dine in or on the covered and heated patio "for cooler days", hard to resist the handmade chocolate truffles and other treats on the way out and cheeses. Did I mention the cheeses? Beer jellies? I have to remember all this for my next trip, maybe even stay at the Guesthouse. You gotta eat here....:)

A very special place to visit As it was raining, we took the water taxi from downtown to close to Spinnakers and then walked back (20 minutes). We were seated on the second floor, outside on the verandah with heaters above and blankets to keep us warm in the rather damp weather. We could have stayed there all day. The views were amazing. It was lunchtime and one of us had the seafood chowder, the other the vegetarian soup. Both were delicious and hearty and filling and very reasonably priced.

Great view, great food, great beer! Spinnakers is located with a harbour view, lots of parking. Seating on main floor for more subdued restaurant service, or upstairs for more pub-like atmosphere. We went upstairs because there were window seats available there. Ocean view was almost panorama, and Celebrity Cruise ship was in the harbour. We watched the little tender boats returning the cruisers, and the lights on the ship began to light up....very romantic...I felt like booking a cruise. Food was well prepared, delicately presented, and good! Beer? .... we had the Flight of four smaller-sized beers, fine beer and a lot of fun to order that way. Service exceptional, not rushed but not slow. Recommend.

Good Food, Great View This is a friendly brewpub with a good choice of food offerings. We were a group of 6 and we had salads, pizza, seafood (fish), and burgers. Everyone was happy. We sat inside, but enjoyed a view of the bay. If you do sit outside, they will supply lap blankets if it gets chilly. We took the water ferry from downtown Victoria to a stop about 1/2 mile from this venue and that was fun. Be sure to grab a locally made piece of chocolate on your way out.

Great food and view we started out with House Smoked West Coast Fish Plate, Cheese and Beer Pot and a bowl of seafood chowder to share. It was all delicious. We all had something different for our dinner (4 of us) and we were all very happy with our choices. I had the halibut fish and chips and it was a little doughier then I like but still very good and I had enough for lunch the next day. I was not a fan of the coleslaw because it had caraway seeds in it. I had a fruit beer taster (4 different types of beer) and it was very good as well.
Great service in a beautiful old building, with a fantastic view which also enhances your dinner.

Excellent Pub Grub! We live up the street and are regulars. Most tables have a good view. The food is excellent and there is a full bar. Try the mutton burger (when available) for lunch. Or, the brewer's breakfast is also a great choice. They make the beer jelly inhouse. Stop by the kiosk on the way out and pick up a few hand made chocolates or beer brewed onsite to take home. It can be a bit loud during the dinner rush.

Consistently good! We have been coming here for about 6 months on and off and have always had great food and wonderful service. Enjoying the craft beer especially Juice Monkey IPA and the great BC wine selection. Love the $5 pints at Happy Hour. Wings really good, Clam Fettuccine outstanding, tuna loin salad great, 3 pig pizza awesome. Had breakfast once and had the smoked salmon hash , loved it. Love the view and the great hospitality.

Beer and Chocolate Pairings? Yes. A new idea to me - pairing chocolate with beer. What fun! We started our dining experience with this; one should eat dessert first, right? Then we had an early dinner out on the deck - a lovely, clear evening. Blankets accompany each seat on the deck, and heaters are placed strategically. I enjoyed a salad with the addition of local salmon, and my partner enjoyed halibut. The salmon was cooked perfectly with a silky and moist texture. The halibut was cooked equally well - moist and flaky, not dry or overcooked. It was a delicious meal. As we left, we stopped by the truffle counter and purchased a few delectable truffles for a late evening treat. A great dining experience.

Solidly Solid Despite being located away from downtown Victoria, a cool place by the way, Spinnakers does a fine job of making up for that by putting forth a solid overall product. They have beers that would satisfy the wide range of beer taste buds that likely come in the door. Yet for all the beer offerings, I remember most the food. For me it was charcuterie all the way, and yup no regrets.
The pub is a really cool spot overlooking the water, and makes for nice city light viewing. Overall, the place is inviting too, and anybody could see that this was a nice spot to gather and socialize. Again, great overall product, even if there is no signature drink or dish. If in Victoria, I’d hit it up again, no question.

This place has it all! We stopped for lunch. First time there since their fire a few years ago. Local seniors and business people were there for late breakfast or for lunch, craft beer tasting fans were upstairs in the loft, service was great, and there was lots of stuff to buy in the shop. We sat outside, with a view of the Inner Harbour, and it looked like the inside tables were terraced to give that view to as many tables as possible. The pulled pork nachos were a nice shared lunch for two. This place will get much busier as the condo towers continue to rise nearby.
