Available in BottlesBlue Bridge Double Pale An emerging new world style, this double pale blends north-west and noble bittering hops and finishes with old world noble aromatic hops to create a complex and floral hop profile. This beer is superbly balanced, masking its strong body and making the beer very drinkable. Beware! alc/vol: 8.2% og: 1.068 IBU: 42 India Pale Ale Based on the Northern English version of the style as originally brewed and exported to the troops in India, Spinnakers IPA is strong, full flavoured, with a very well balanced yet assertive hop character. This beer is a favourite of our regular patrons and beer aficionados alike. alc/vol: 7.1% og: 1.065 IBU:55 Nut Brown Ale Our version of this old english style is a mild deep amber coloured ale with a pleasant "nutty" light biscuit and roasted malt flavour and a light flowery hop aroma with a non bitter finish from the use of saaz hops. This is a light bodied beer that appeals to both dark and light beer drinkers alike. alc/vol: 5.2% og: 1.052 IBU: 16 Mitchell's Extra Special Bitter recently named “one of canada’s top beers” by maclean’s magazine, this long time favourite with spinnakers’ regulars is a copper coloured, classic english pub bitter, brewed with english pale and crystal malts, hopped with horizon & kent goldings. alc/vol: 5.2% og: 50 IBU: 40 North West Ale north west ale is inspired by the assertively hopped beers of the cascadia region. This ale is brewed with 85 IBU’s of pacific north-west hops, superbly well balanced with a strong, copper coloured, malty body. alc/vol: 6.2% og: 1.058 IBU: 85
Discovery Ale in january 1992 the space shuttle discovery carried hops on board, travelling over 3 million miles during 128 orbits. Upon touchdown, the hops were conveyed to Spinnakers and employed in two special casks, tapped by the commander and then shared amongst the crew. Discovery ale is a celebration of all of all of the flights of the discovery and the end of the shuttle era. discovery ale has a taste which defies gravity. alc/vol: 3.8% og: 1.038 IBU: 24 Cascadia Dark Ale First brewed for the reopening of Robson's Lion's Head Smoke & Brewpub, as the first craft beer centered pub in the Kootenays. It is brewed with English Pale and roasted malts and hopped with cascades and centennials. 6.5% og 1.065 IBU 55 Uber Blonde Made with Pale Ale and Pilsner malts to give it its blonde colour. Also uses our Belgium yeast strain. 8.2% og 1.070 Original Pale Ale This is a light bodied, lightly hopped, straw coloured effervescent Pale Ale with a delicate hop aroma and a balanced, slightly sweet finish. alc/vol: 5.0% og 1.150 IBU 18 Hand PumpedJameson's Scottish Ale brewed in honour of the jameson clan of tea, coffee & spice merchants, who settled in victoria in 1889, this beer is a classic scottish ale, demonstrating a complex malty body, lightly hopped with a touch of peat on the finish. alc/vol: 6.4% og: 1.062 IBU: 20 Pulled Cask BeerCask Jamesons Scottish Ale brewed in honour of the jameson clan of tea, coffee & spice merchants, who settled in victoria in 1889, this beer is a classic scottish ale, demonstrating a complex malty body, lightly hopped with a touch of peat on the finish. this cask has also had an additional dry hopping with kent goldings hops alc/vol: 6.4% og:1.064 IBU: 20 Cask Extra Special Bitter recently named “one of canada’s top beers” by maclean’s magazine, this long time favourite with spinnakers’ regulars is a copper coloured, classic english pub bitter, brewed with english pale and crystal malts, hopped with horizon & kent goldings. this cask has also received an extra dry hopping with northern brewers hops. alc/vol: 5.2% og: 1.050 IBU: 40 Cask India Pale Ale based on the classic northern english version of the style as originally brewed and exported to the troops in India, Spinnakers’ IPA is a strong ale, full flavoured ale, with a very well balanced, yet assertive hop character.
