Blue Bridge Double Pale

An emerging new world style, this double pale blends north-west and noble bittering hops and finishes with old world noble aromatic hops to create a complex and floral hop profile. This beer is superbly balanced, masking its strong body and making the beer very drinkable. Beware!

India Pale Ale

Based on the Northern English version of the style as originally brewed and exported to the troops in India, Spinnakers IPA is strong, full flavoured, with a very well balanced yet assertive hop character. This beer is a favourite of our regular patrons and beer aficionados alike.

Nut Brown Ale

Our version of this old english style is a mild deep amber coloured ale with a pleasant "nutty" light biscuit and roasted malt flavour and a light flowery hop aroma with a non bitter finish from the use of saaz hops. This is a light bodied beer that appeals to both dark and light beer drinkers alike.

Mitchell's Extra Special Bitter

recently named “one of canada’s top beers” by maclean’s magazine, this long time favourite with spinnakers’ regulars is a copper coloured, classic english pub bitter,  brewed with english pale and crystal malts, hopped with horizon & kent goldings.

North West Ale

north west ale is inspired by the assertively hopped beers of the cascadia region.  This ale is brewed with 85 IBU’s of pacific north-west hops, superbly well balanced with a strong, copper coloured, malty body.

Cascadia Dark Ale

First brewed for the reopening of Robson's Lion's Head Smoke & Brewpub, as the first craft beer centered pub in the Kootenays. It is brewed with English Pale and roasted malts and hopped with cascades and centennials.

Uber Blonde

This Belgian tripel was brewed with pale ale and pilsner malts and features big fruit esters balanced against a strong, blonde body.

Titanic Stout

Brewed in the tradition of the classic stouts shipped from the UK to Russia, this is a strong stout brewed with all English malted grain and noble hops.

Hoptoria

Our hoppiest beer to date! Brewed with Canadian Superior Pale, English Munich and Cara malts and hopped with Columbus, Summit, Super Galena, Sterling and Cascade hops and then dry hopped with an additional half-kilogram each of Cascade and Sterling, resulting in a remarkably smooth American style IPA.

This is both a celebration of hops and Victoria's 150th Birthday.

India Session Ale

A lover gravity India Session Ale. Well hopped, well balanced with a drinkability designed to inspire sociability.

Jameson's Scottish Ale

Brewed in honour of the Jameson clan of tea, coffee and spice merchants who settled in Victoria in 1889, this beer is a classic Scottish Ale, demontrating a complex malty body, lightly hopped with a touch of peat on the finish.

Choc-o-holic Porter

Tcho Milk Chocolate Porter brewed in a Baltic Porter style with a Canadian Pilsner malt base, English Munich, Cara and Chocolate malts, American de-husked chocolate malt and a touch of wheat malt, balanced with 2 pitchings of German Hallertaus hops and farmer empowering, sustainably cooperative produced TCHO Source Cocao nibs from Ecuador via Pier 17 in San Francisco.

Original Pale Ale

This lightly hopped, straw coloured, effervescent pale ale has a delicate hop aroma and a balanced, slightly sweet finish. Based on the first brew to have been served at Spinnakers Brewpub, June 13, 1984, this beer dates from the beginnings of the renaissance of Craft Brewing in North America.

Cascadia Dark Ale

Cascadia Dark Ale, a style some call a Black IPA, brewed with English & Canadian pale and roasted malts, hopped with new world varietals. This resinous, citrusy, hop-forward dark roast ale is great on its own or served with smoked meats and barbeque.

North West Ale

Inspired by our Cascadia region is brewed with 85 IBU’s of Pacific Northwest hop varietals superbly balanced to a strong, copper coloured, malty body. Breath deeply, feel the life within.

Kolsch Style Ale

An early ale style, distinctive to its Cologne appellation, from the days before lager beers, appearing like a Pilsner, delicate, gently fruity with a sweet, malty biscuityness and a light spice from whole leaf Czech Saaz hops.
