SPINNAKERS BASIL IPA $5/pint
'
Location: Taproom
Out the window with hops on this one. We’re reviving Spinnakers' Basil IPA. The basil adds a slight sweetness to balance out the bitter flavours of the IPA and offers an absolutely balanced beer. Highly recommended for the fall season, and a truly session ale. Make sure to let the brewers know what you think so they can make more.

These Cascades were just harvested from the Hadfield’s home just last week. They could not be any fresher. Nice citrus flavours help to increase the malt profile of the IPA, essentially balancing it out and creating an amazing tasting experience. If you like IPA you must try this cask!

SPINNAKERS IPA HOPPED WITH FRESH SOOKE WILLAMETTE HOPS $5/pint
'
Location: Taproom
Alpha Acid - 4% - 6%
Willamette hops are a hybrid of Fuggle hops that are a classic English hop dating back 150 years. IPA was first developed to quench the thirst of English soldiers that were not used to the heat of India’s blistering sun. They were heavily hopped, and made with a generous amount of grain to provide a high alcohol content. Our Willamette hops were just harvested in Sooke and were very resinous which should add a substantial boost to our IPA.

ABBOTT BITTER DRY HOPPED WITH GOLDING HOPS $5/pint

The best fish and chips pairing you could possibly hope for. Golding’s tend to be very floral and not very bitter, so they won’t over power anything you eat. Traditionally, this beer is meant to be enjoyed with many different English dishes, and is very well known for it’s ultimate pairing.

ROUNDHOUSE RED ALE HOPPED WITH CHINOOK HOPS $5/pint
'
Location: Taproom
Alpha Acid - 12% - 14%
Our Roundhouse Red Ale has been on tap for about 2 weeks now, and it’s ready to run the trial of going in a cask. Chinook hops are higher in alpha acids than most other hops, creating a nice pungent aroma to accompany this already hoppy beer. Because Chinooks hops are a high alpha bittering hop, their addition will boost the hoppiness as well as the aromatics. At 55 IBU, this cask of red ale will move our lightly hopped red ale more into the realm of a North-west style red ale.
