Spinnakers has a unique barrel aged and sour reserve program. Often these unique blends of flavors take an upwards of 6 months to age and mature. These slow beers have become a staple at Spinnakers, showing up in our flights of four tasters or simply as a refreshing glass to sip on slowly.

Currently we have 2 sours and 1 barrel aged on tap. Presenting our Gose Reposado, Cabernet ‘Farmhouse’ IPA, and our Oaked Extra Special Bitter.

The Gose Reposado is a sour that has been barrel aged for 6 months. The brew has picked up notes of tequila and wood, fused with Vancouver island Co’s sea salt, that has created a delightfully refreshing tart taste.

Cabernet ‘Farmhouse’ IPA is a full bodied sour IPA that spent a year in freshly emptied Napa Cabernet barrels, where the brew picked up tannins, a prominent red wine character, and some brett funk. This IPA has an ABV of 7.1% and is full of character that will leave you with a mouth full of taste.

The Oaked Extra Special Bitter is pulled from our classic Mitchells ESB, and it aged with bourbon soaked oak staves. This creation is rich & smooth with a subtle hints of authentic Kentucky bourbon.

Come sample these three unique blends that are pouring on tap while quantities last.
